Last week myself and the boys went camping in the New Forest. We had a brilliant time - weather and cycling fantastic. We even managed to fit a train ride in. I've uploaded the photos and this time I've managed to add descriptions which should help. The pictures are a bit blurred for some reason but still "capture the mood" I hope.
Brief itinerary as follows:
Tuesday - arrived at Roundhill campsite and set up camp. Horses in tent. Shooed away.
Wednesday - 10-mile round trip on the bikes to Beaulieu. Lunch at the Three Stumps (see photo). BMX-ing on Beaulieu Heath. BBQ in evening.
Thursday - Woken by the cuckoo early morning. Train ride from Brockenhurst to Lymington. Tempted to take ferry to Isle of Wight but Nathan not keen on sea crossing. Cycle trip round New Forest including railway bridges.
Friday - trip to Milford on Sea. Lunch on sea wall looking out to Hurst Castle, then home.
Oh, and there's a video of the boys doing bike tricks on Beaulieu Heath (see video section at bottom of right-hand menu).
